Guy Just Felt Sluggish
Guy came into the clinic to have a colonic. He felt sluggish and thought a good clean out might help, because his friends told him that they felt better after having a colonic. He had a lumpy congested area at his lower descending colon that didn’t clear very well, so he continued to return for a series of colonics to clear this built-up matter. It is quite common for people to have 3-6 colonics before all the build-up has cleared from their bowel. After 5 colonics his bowel still wasn’t clear and this area was proving to be very stubborn. Being his 6th session, I was ready to suggest he have further investigation with a colonoscopy to see what was going on.
Not being a very open and chatty person, we had never discussed emotional stuff. But with no change in how he felt, I knew we had to talk. Drawing his attention to the fact that this area of the bowel corresponds to the genital glands reflex points, I asked him if he’d had any negative experiences relating to sexuality. That really opened up “Pandora’s Box”. He told me he had been raped at the age of 12 and became angry and upset because he’d had so much therapy previously for what had happened and couldn’t believe it was still having an effect on him.
I suggested that he close his eyes and go within this area of the body mentally. Then, because he had been holding on to it emotionally and was fed-up, to give himself permission to let go on a physical level for once and for all. He did and suddenly released a slimy black blob, shook all over and then relaxed. He said he felt like the whole world had been lifted from his shoulders.
This was one of many cases where I have seen colonic treatments instrumental in helping people to release emotional issues.
